GRID STEP. You can print out the base construction lines and start drawing on tracing paper, or you can draw the grid layout yourself using the following steps.1) Draw a rectangle that will define the conditional proportions and boundaries of the chosen drawing. 2) From the middle of the rectangle, draw one vertical and one horizontal line equally dividing the shape. 3) Draw another horizontal line equally dividing the upper half of the rectangle. Similarly, draw a horizontal line equally dividing the bottom half of the rectangle. 4) Draw a vertical line equally dividing the left half of the rectangle. Similarly, draw a vertical line equally dividing the right half of the rectangle.

STEP 1. Draw an oval for the head and a rectangle for the torso.

STEP 2. Mark out the figures for the neck and shoulder pads. Start drawing the lower part of the body. Wipe off the excess.

STEP 3. Complete the shape of the outfit around neck. Separate the body with two lines. Add shoes and kneepads.

STEP 4. Add an arch over the head for the helmet. Draw hands with fingers and feet. Mark a gun in one hand. Make the outline of the collar more distinct.

STEP 5. Mark out the shape of the helmet. Draw rectangular shapes on the chest. Separate the gloves and boots with lines. Add details on the gun and belt. Erase all the excess.

STEP 6. Detail the helmet and equipment. Add elements to the gun. Draw fingers.

STEP 7. Divide the face with a horizontal line and mark the mouth at the bottom. Detail the costume and the gun. Finish the fingers.

STEP 8. Add a nose. Detail the whole drawing with folds and elements.
